0. Unofficial product
Claude Enhancer is an unofficial Chrome extension by Fenwick Labs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, PBC. “Claude” is a trademark of Anthropic. This product is independent and is not an official Anthropic application.
1. What we collect
- Account email when you sign in with Google or complete checkout (used for Pro entitlement and support).
- Authentication tokens / session state for Google sign-in and our auth provider (Supabase), stored in your browser via Chrome storage.
- Payment confirmation metadata from PayPal / Razorpay (never full card numbers).
- Anonymous device install IDs to enforce the 2-profile Pro limit.
- Export usage counters (for example PDF / summary / ZIP remaining on Free) synced with our billing backend when you are signed in.
- Local productivity data such as folders, chat titles/URLs, notes, themes, and UI preferences — stored in your browser via Chrome storage.
2. What stays on your device / Claude.ai page
When you use Claude Enhancer on https://claude.ai, the extension reads page content in your browser to power folders, notes, Prompt Glow, Fun Mode, exports (PDF / summary / ZIP), and the on-page Usage display.
- Chat text used for exports and local estimates is processed on your device.
- We do not send your Claude conversations to Fenwick Labs for model training or remote analysis.
- We do not call Anthropic’s public Messages API (
api.anthropic.com) and we do not use an Anthropic API key for token counting. - Plan / session usage percentages shown in the Usage pane come from your signed-in Claude.ai session (organization usage endpoints on
claude.ai), not from a separate Anthropic developer API.
3. Cookies & Claude session helpers
With your permission, the extension may read or clear Claude.ai cookies only as needed for features you control — for example reading organization identifiers for the Usage display, or clearing Claude session cookies when switching / signing out of Claude accounts. Cookie access is limited to Claude-related domains and is not used to track your browsing on other websites.
4. Third-party services
- Google — optional sign-in (OAuth / Chrome Identity) for account email and profile.
- Supabase — authentication and session storage for the extension account.
- Our billing backend (Vercel) — Pro entitlement checks and Free-tier export counters.
- PayPal & Razorpay — payment processing. Review their privacy policies. We store entitlement status tied to your billing email to unlock Pro.
- Google Fonts — may load stylesheets/fonts on this website and some extension pages.
5. How we use data
To deliver the extension, verify Pro, enforce Free limits, send renewal or support messages, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
Entitlement and account-linked records are kept while your license is active and as required for accounting. Local Chrome storage stays on your device until you clear it or uninstall. You may request deletion of account-linked server records by emailing support (subject to legal retention).
7. Chrome Web Store disclosures
For store privacy questions: the extension’s single purpose is to enhance Claude.ai for the signed-in user with folders, notes, Prompt Glow, Fun Mode, and exports. Host access is limited to Claude.ai, Google accounts, Supabase, and our billing site. Remotely hosted executable code is not used.
